Nurses Continuing Education Monitor

NCEM is dedicated to assisting professional nurses fulfill their professional obligation for licensure renewal,.....  and every other process which requires detailed record keeping of continuing education, an easy, manageable, and stress-free way.

NCEM, Nurses Continuing Education Monitor, is the process we use to serve the professional nurse and health related businesses. Through the utilization of the NCEM process, Corey Consulting Services has developed a record management system which monitors contact hours acquired for the purpose of licensure, certification, employment, and/or professional organization membership. Reports of continued education units/contact hours are obtained by NCEM and added to each member's portfolio.

Our staff reports the total contact hours annually, or upon request, to our client.  Originally established to assist nurses meet their requirements for licensure, NCEM has further developed a system to assist hospitals and credentialing agencies manage these contact hour requirements for their nursing staff and members.

Founded by a nurse entrepreneur and educator for the benefit of the nursing profession, NCEM provides the tools and processes to ensure nurses will remain equipped with proper credentials,   We recognize the importance that health related organizations and hospitals continue to staff with properly credentialed personnel and we seek to work with you to provide this oversight.

NCEM will assist nurses with questions such as: How do I obtain contact hours? How do I know what “counts” as contact hours in my specialized field? How do I keep up with the fast-paced, growing demands and changes regarding nursing CEUs? Will this class for contact hours help me stand out more with my employer in a positive way, versus another class? NCEM has the answers to these questions, and more.

For Pennsylvania Nurses

Newly enacted state legislation in the State of Pennsylvania, Act 58 of 2006, requires each licensed registered nurse to be responsible for accumulating continuing education credits/contact hours, over the course of two years beginning with the effective license date, to qualify for licensure renewal. Failure to meet these contact hour requirements could result in fines, license suspension, and even termination of your employment.
